Guide Others to Jesus

  GUIDE OTHERS TO JESUS
Go to Jesus and Guide to Jesus. Repeat.

Brothers, we must produce good fruit. What happens to the vine which, planted in good soil, produces nothing? Don't let your church service be a social action. Instead, let it be a trainingground, first for your own strength and second to enable your service in the harvest. Serve God, not yourself.

A young pastor and mathematician from Sweden took a youth group to Kiev, Ukraine. He shared this math: If you guide three people each year to Jesus, build them up and send them out to do the same, how long will it take to bring the Gospel to the world's population? Answer: 33 years.

So, what are you waiting for? What you need is three people who will also show three people. This means you will need to share the Gospel with many more than three people! Some of your seed  will fall onto poor soil and some will not grow at all.

With whom should you share the Gospel? Use this test: Place a small mirror under their nose. If it steams up, share the Word!

Look to the Lord to guide you in what to say. Some meetings with nonbelievers are designed to water seeds planted by others, or merely to prepare the soil for another to plant a seed. Do not be pushy. Accepting the Lord is a personal decision. But DO be bold and confident. When you allow yourself to be trained by the Holy Spirit, you will see a huge change in your ability

Allow your passion and enthusiasm for the Lord to show in your testimony. Make references to people you know with similarities to the listener. For example, when talking to a judge, mention the lawyer in your church who got saved last year.

Look for questions or challenges, even if they are negative. These questions are signals the listener wants more information. Answer the questions and remain positive. If you cannot answer a question, this is good reason to invite the listener to a Bible study or another Christian function.

Be sure to get contact information. Say, "What is a good way to get in touch with you?" This phrasing is more likely to elicit a positive response than, "Great! Give me your number." Phone numbers are personal information. Respect this.

Follow-up and invite to a function. Be sure to pick them up at their house and drive them to the event. They are more likely to respond well to the personal touch. Use wisdom to select an appropriate pairing for your guest. Introduce students to other students, married couples to other married couples, businessmen to businessmen and so forth. Rely on the Holy Spirit to guide you. A nonsensical choice will sometimes become clear later. For example, the Holy Spirit may guide you to introduce your guest to a successful businessman in your church. Later, you will see the Lord has anointed the person in finances.

Be and emanate love each day. People will be drawn to you and listen to your explanation of the source of your happiness. Be prepared with a testimony when you are asked, and God Bless you!

TIPS FOR LEADERSHIP

1.Understand: A leader can have an official position of leadership or simply lead without any special title or rank. The leader is the one being followed. Lead by personal example. Be cautious and loving in your friendships and marriage. Be professional and trustworthy in business and finances.

2. See the treasure in people. God sees treasure in people. You should, too.

3. Tell people you trust them. Pray for them. Support them with fasting. Encourage people.

4. Teach people to finish things they started. Motivate them. Do not judge what they are doing.

5. Do not only teach people to serve. Teach them also to teach others. Teach so your students will themselves become capable teachers.

6. Teach people to administer authority and responsibility. At events and functions, assign responsibility. Later, provide feedback, reward and give thanks.
